What can I expect when I come to a CGE class?
When you come to a Cleangoodeats (CGE) cooking class you can expect the unexpected. We don’t just cook here. We offer you an experience. It is important to form a relationship with your food. I know it sounds crazy, but the more you know about where your food comes from, the better equipped you are to make good choices about what you eat.
We believe food should be FUN!!! Now let’s face it, If God just wanted us to eat for fuel, He wouldn’t have made it taste so darn good. Plus we think delicious and nutritious rhyme for a reason. They go together like a hand in a glove.
When you attend one of our cooking classes you will receive education and instruction in a peaceful atmosphere that is predicated on your healing. We believe food is a tool to bring the family back to the table. We believe at the table is where either sickness or healing is fostered.

Where are your ingredients
sourced?
We believe in purchasing locally sourced produce and meats. This is important to us therefore we have forged relationships with area farmers in and around Hardin County. The less our food has to travel to reach our tables the more nutrient dense and less toxin filled it can be. We do not use GMO products of any kind and we purchase organic whenever possible. Better ingredients make better food. Better food makes for a healthier body. A healthier body makes for a longer lasting legacy of health and wellness for many generations to come. That is what we stand for here at Cleangoodeats, a legacy of health and wellness that lasts generations.

What do we create in class and why are no menus listed?

Whoa, whoa, whoa, Danielson. One question at a time. To answer your first question, each class is tailored to the topic. However, for most of our classes, you will create 3 distinct farm-to-table recipes at your station along with the chef. This is NOT a demo kitchen. In a demo kitchen, you watch the chef cook, and if you are lucky, you can participate before you receive your taste test.
Here you receive a full portion of food and we know, that if you cook along with us you can develop a feeling of accomplishment and may perhaps attempt to recreate the dishes at home. Therefore we created it to be like your kitchen at home with a few extra fun gadgets to make you happy to enter and almost never want to leave.

To answer your second question, we do not list menus because we are a farm-to-table cooking studio. That means that we work with the produce and livestock the farmers have on hand on a week-to-week basis. Vegetation is seasonal and weather can be a huge factor in its availability. We do however take allergies very seriously here (check out our About Page for an explanation of why). Therefore before entering the kitchen, you fill out a health waiver to disclose allergens, food sensitivities, and certain food-derived medical conditions, so we can make sure we tailor your items to suit you best. No need in forcing a hospital visit under our watch. 😉
Do you host private events?
